The Outcast Story
How It Started
JU Outcasts didn't start with a grand master plan. It began as a simple, random WhatsApp group of 25-30 students who just wanted to vibe outside the pressure of lectures, tough assignments, and endless semester exams.
We realized that while JU has amazing academic societies, there was a need for something purely casual. A digital common room where you can just be yourself.
The Evolution
Over time, what started as a few texts turned into something much larger. It evolved into a massive, Discord-server-like energy right in our pockets.
We share memes, host spontaneous meetups, and keep the energy alive. We aren't an official academic board; we are the culture. We represent the absolute chillest side of Jadavpur University.
Our Only Rule: Protect the Vibe
Whether you're from Engineering, Arts, or Science, your background doesn't matter here. If you respect the boundaries, avoid toxicity, and bring good energy, you have a place with the Outcasts.
